Steroids and WWE and Raw Review 3/19/07

ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley def. Chris Masters (Master Lock Challenge)

This was lame. They spent how many useless jobbers and random wrestlers in this Master Lock thing only to have Bobby Lashley defeat Masters? Masters is horrible, and I don't like Lashley so this was just horrible to me. Someone save the wwe please!

Edge wins a Battle Royal for a Money in the Bank WrestleMania spot

Edge is a great competitor. He somehow edges out a few good folks to get into the Money in the Bank match, however, that means the rest of the Wrestlemania Card will be without Rated RKO as they are both in the same match! I don't believe that the WWE is going to let these guys get in all the offense needed to make this match successful. It's just too many people at the same exact time.

Intercontinental Champion Umaga def. Eugene (Non-Title)

This is another squash. It's sad that Eugene gets the worst treatment in wwe history.

Women's Champion Melina def. Candice Michelle (Bra and Panties Match)

This was a waste of time.

Jeff Hardy def. Randy Orton (DQ)

This could have been huge, but alas it was another waste of time. I like the chemistry, but even Hardy can't save this suckfest.

WWE Champion John Cena def. Chris Benoit (Non-Title)

I can't believe how Benoit went over on this match. He tapped to the STFU! What? The same guy that nearly killed Kevin Sullivan is seen here doing the job for CENA! This is so bad it hurts.

JBL never wrestled HBK.

This raw was another nail in the coffin for me. Why do I even bother?

Onto the Steroids:

Sports Illustrated Online has named these names:

Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio Jr. , Randy Orton, Gregory Helms, and EDGE! in the ongoing steroids crackdown. This makes a lot of sense in many ways, and I believe this could be the end of the beginning for a lot of young superstars. We'll see how far the WWE will go to protect their top names.
