TNA Final Resolution 2010 Review

Beer Money defeated Ink Inc

Not exactly what I would've expected from the opening match at a ppv, but this match haed a few moments of good overall amount of wrestling. I liked the chemistry in ring, but I didn't care for the lack of storyline here. Beer Money would eventually get the pin, and that was that. It was a forgettable match up.

Tara defeated Mickie James in a falls count anywhere match

I've seen a lot of "Falls Count Anywhere" matches, and some of them have been good. I've seen some terrible matches with the stipulation as well, and this match was the worst of them all. The worst women's wrestling match I've ever seen, seriously, this match was stupid. It went throughout a great deal of the arena, and the two just brawled, straight into the toilet! There was a guy reading the paper at one point, that was kind of funny, but other than that, this was stupid, the worst match I've seen in a long time. Madison Rayne was in one of the stalls and used a fire extinguisher to help Tara win the match up. Terrible Terrible match...Mickie James gets pinned on the men's room floor!

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal w/ Cookie In A Cage Above Ringside via disqualification

Robbie E and Jay Lethal can string across a watchable match, despite the lame gimmick. I liked the match for what it was, and there were some nice back and forth moments. Lethal's offense complimented Robbie's style from time to time, and it was interesting to see Cookie above the ring in a cage as a nice throwback to the old school wrestling. At one point, Jay Lethal crashed into Robbie E and this match turned bad. Robbie E was thrown a chain then some hair spray and Jay Lethal was disqualified Lethal for using some hairspray...yep...dq finish.

Out of nowhere, Shark Boy came out. That's right, Shark Boy came out. Shark Boy got slapped by Cookie, but eventually hit a Shark Boy Stunner and that was that.

RVD defeated Rhino in a first blood match

One of the worst matches I've seen on ppv in a while. RVD looked winded within 5 to 10 minutes of this match, Rhino took some offense and gave RVD an ok match up, but overall, this match just wasn't that fun to watch. It was just boring to me. RVD hit a Van Terminator from across the ring and Rhino was busted open, and that was the end of the match up. Yep. RVD wins, and I'm not sure why anyone would care.

Douglas Williams defeated Aj Styles for the Television Title

These two have a good amount of offense, and I think that the two could've made this a four start classic. Instead, this match had a lot of boring moments, and then some of the BEST moves outside the ring I've seen. Doug Williams hit Rolling Chaos on the outside! This match looked like a video game at one point and I was just completely immersed, towards the end of the match. Aj STyles would eventually fall to Williams when Williams hit a Styles Clash on AJ! Doug wins and is the new champion! Not a four star classic, but a good finish, and some nice sequences, hopefully the booking gets better from here on out because Doug Williams has some nice moves in his stable.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me

I can't believe that these types of matches only happen in TNA, that being said, this was an insane amount of independent style wrestling on a ppv. The two teams fought and hit moves from off teh top rope, off of ladders and a variety of different points, making this spot fest entertaining. THe two really just put on a circus of moves for the tag titles that wasn't half bad, but there were some moments that just seemed too cartoonish for even wrestling. A three star match was found here, and I liked it enough, even if Generation Me didn't win.

Abyss defeated The Pope

THe worst downfall in the history of wrestling has to be the fall of The Black Pope. He was doing quite well going into this February's ppv, and now? He's feuding with the worst wrestler in the world, Abyss in a Casket Match? Ugh. This match was stupid, it was void of anything worth mentioning. This was just stupid, I didn't want to watch it, and when The Pope was chokeslammed into the casket and the lid was shut, I finally cared. Yes, I cared because it was over, and I was hoping NEVER TO SEE THE POPE VS ABYSS AGAIN! What a waste of Pope, and what a terrible wrestler Abyss is...I hate him.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe in a submission match

I didn't think that TNA's ppv could get any worst, than this match happened. Jeff Jarrett and Samoa Joe in a submission match? This was just the worst match I've seen in a long time. I really hated it, and the crowd hated it too. Joe sucks these days, Jarrett sucks too, and I was just tired of this match at various points. Jarrett was going to tap, but the TNA security guys ran down and helped Double J. Jarrett then put an Ankle Lock on Joe and guess what? SAMOA JOE QUIT! That's right, DOUBLE J goes over....ugh..what a bunch of bs.

Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan w/ special guest Ken Anderson

This match had a lot of moments that got me interested, but overall, it just wasn't a great match. Anderson called this thing down the middle, and Morgan had this thing won at several points during the match. Anderson got knocked out of the ring and was down while Morgan pinned Hardy after a Carbon Footprint. Bischoff came down and threw Anderson into a post and Bischoff got a new ref for the match. This thing was headed into no man's land, as Morgan looked poised to lose to Hardy and the cheaters. A new ref was in...Morgan was in control, and there was only 3 minutes left, I pegged Morgan to win, but I kind of senses that I was wrong. Hardy hit a Twist of Hate into a chair and won the match. Yep, Hardy wins again...in one of the worst matches I've seen in a long time. Hardy wins...ugh....TNA Sucks.

Someone buy out Tna.
