WWE Smackdown 6/23/2016 Results and Review The Feminists Will Hate This Show

WWE Smackdown came to Tucson, Arizona, home of the biggest cult I’ve ever been involved with The Potter’s House. Anyways, they have some of the best food down there. On this night of wrestling, however, the B show didn’t seem low, as there were some great matches, and moments. Here we go a review break down of sorts.

Seth Rollins opened the show, got interrupted by Sami Zayn to set up a match later, only to get interrupted by Dean Ambrose for the Ambrose Asylum show. We were also introduced to David Otunga on the commentary team, so that’s something.

Cesaro defeated Alberto Del Rio

I like Del Rio. I love that he calls everyone perro, great guy. This match was good, short, but sweet. Cesaro put Del Rio through the ringer, and picked up a sick victory. This may be match of the night, but we’re just getting started folks. What a cool little match. You should check this one out no doubt.

Sheamus defeated Apollo Crews by Countout

This match wasn’t much of a match, Sheamus got the win via count out, enough said.

Aj Styles defeated Jimmy Uso

Aj Styles is a beast. However, I don’t get why they booked him to allow Jimmy to have so much offense. They didn’t do that courtesy for John Cena and Karl Anderson. Did you see Anderson get buried on Monday? Odd.

The New Day defeated The Vaudevillains

I wasn’t paying that close attention to this match, but what I can tell you is that The New Day basically buried The Vaudevillains, simple as that.

The Wyatt’s had a promo. I’m sure they are the next champions, done and done.

Dana Brooks defeated Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch lost in this fast match. Is this what the Divas Revolution was all about/ If this is the booking that the WWE is going to put through, I’m not really a fan. Sasha Banks showed up. Have you noticed that the WWE pushes good looking women? That really upsets the feminists out there. But hey, that’s just me. Maybe some feminazis from Twitter can start their own blog and post 1300 posts, and then say something. Oh wait, they won’t. They can’t. They will just talk on Twitter and assume I’m an idiot. This was boring. I’m not a Sasha Banks fan, she’s injury prone.

Seth Rollins defeated Sami Zayn

In one hell of a match Seth Rollins defeated Sami Zayn. This was match of the week, no doubt, and it was absolutely good to see it happen. Rollins was incredible here, and Zayn was able to really turn things around several times. I loved it. You have to check this one out, it will no doubt be on a top 10 list sooner than later.

Overall Rating: 5 out of 10

While there was a good main event, and a nice opener, this was a boring show otherwise. There just wasn’t enough clout to get this one into the books. Zayn and Rollins, what a showcase. Low point, the women’s division.
