WWE Monday Night Raw February 20, 2017 Results and Review Bring In The Clowns

Kevin Owens Opened Up Raw This Week
Monday Night Raw was live from my home area, but I am now living in Indiana, so I couldn’t get to it. I didn’t want to review things this week because someone in my work life told me that I suck at writing. This was the second week in a row that someone said I sucked at what I did, and it made me want to quit my job. I’m back to writing though, so here we are, talking about Monday Night Raw.

WWE Monday Night Raw February 20, 2017 Review

WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens addressed Goldberg and his betrayal of Chris Jericho

Send In The Clowns. That’s all I can say about this. Ok, I did like it, but I’ve heard it before. Curt Hennig said the same exact same thing about Goldberg. I was there live in the arena at Bash At The Beach 1998. Hennig said he had found the secret to beating Goldberg. That match lasted 3 minutes 50 seconds.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass def. Cesaro and Sheamus to become No. 1 contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championship

Enzo and Cass won here, but there were a lot of boos. It was sad. Oh, but Enzo and Cass win and will face off against the tag team champions at the PPV.

The Brian Kendrick attacked Akira Tozawa

This was boring. They would get a match at 205 Live. But this was boring to me.

Raw Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson def. Roman Reigns via Disqualification

Roman Reigns buried the tag champions. They did this so that the tag team champions look vulnerable against Enzo and Cass.

The New Day def. Rusev and Jinder Mahal

Did you think that Jinder My Balls was going to win? Neither did I. The New Day win, and promise that there will be ice cream at Wrestlemania.

Neville and Jack Gallagher signed their WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match contract

This was kind of cool, with Jack Gallagher winning out with a nice headbutt.

Nia Jax def. Sarah Pierce

A jobber match. I blinked and missed it.

Sasha Banks def. Charlotte Flair

This was a pretty good match, but you have to admit, Flair seems to not be able to win when the belt is not defended at PPV. Bayley didn’t give up her title, even though she won with cheating, and Flair and Banks put on a good match. I loved it. You loved it, let’s move on.
WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens def. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn was beat down by Samoa Joe and that was the end. Owens pinned Zayn and that was all folks.

Braun Strowman def. Big Show

This was a very good big man match. Shoeman was able to beat down Show, but not without Show giving everything he had against the guy. Shoeman impressed me here, but I can’t wait for him to get buried at the PPV.

Overall, Raw was ok. It didn’t hold my attention nearly as much as I would of liked, but it was good. I liked it.
