WWE Monday Night Raw April 30, 2018 Results and Review Too Many Hours

Flight of Rollins - Src WWE
Well, sometimes I want to publish reviews on time, and there are a lot of things that get in my way. This week, a lot of work had to get done, and I didn’t have enough time to write all the reviews that I wanted to write, so they had to wait until now. So here we go, a full rundown of Raw, Smakcdown, and NXT done in 3 consecutive posts, because I didn’t have time to just do one sit down solution. Oh and I’ll review 205 Live as well, all in one sitting, because I saw them all at once, and I’m late on posting this today.

WWE Monday Night Raw April 30, 2018 Results and Review

The opening of Raw saw The Big Dog show up and stink up the yard. He talked about his loss to Lesnar and how it was lame, or whatever. I don’t know, I don’t pay much attention to what Roman Reigns says.

Elias defeated Bobby Roode

A good back and forth match was being had here, especially after Elias did a little singing. But of course, Roode would interfere with the performance, and the two would battle in a good television match, but there was a weird ending in which Roode was thrown into the post and pretended it hit his larynx but it didn’t, and the replay showed that, it was laughable to me. Elias would get the win because the match stopped.

The Authors of Pain defeated Two Jobbers

This was done fast, the Authors of Pain beat up two jobbers and that was that.

Ruby Riott defeated Sasha Banks

Ruby Riott is really good on the mic, she’s a great wrestler, and she put Sasha Banks through the ringer, eventually picking up a win thanks to her buddies. Either way, this was a fun match, and I loved watching it go down. Riott is so much fun inside the ring, and I can’t wait to see more of her in action. Plus, she’s from Indiana, so what’s up! I’d love to meet her.

Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley defeated Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Jinder Mahal

Oh, I forgot about this note earlier. The opening had Owens, Zayn and Mahal show up and give Reigns a beat down before he got saved by Lashley and Strowman. Yeah, logic got thrown out the window for this one. Roman Reigns and his team of good guys beat down Owens, Zayn, and Mahal, even though the Montreal crowd was going nuts for them the whole time. I couldn’t believe how this all was going down, and well, you knew what was going to happen, as they wouldn’t let the faces get a loss here, even though they should’ve lost.

No Way Jose defeated Baron Corbin

This was a lackluster wrestling match, with Corbin getting a pinfall loss against Jose. I didn’t hate it, mind you, but it wasn’t good, and No Way Jose had to get a quick roll up.

Natalya defeated Mickie James

This had Ronda Rousey come out with Natalya and the match wasn’t too good, but it sufficed to have a few minutes of action. Natalya won, but it wasn’t that great, and it was forgettable to me. Ronda Rousey is going to need to get into the ring again, and it will most likely be against Mickie James and Alexa Bliss.

Seth Rollins defeated Finn Balor in the Intercontinental Championship Match

This was a fast paced match and the two threw down everything they had. I loved Balor’s shotgun dropkicks, and Rollins constant flow with his moves, with the crowd going insane at everything that the two were doing. Even though Balor threw in a great push, and Rollins was able to garner a great deal of moves, it wasn’t meant for Balor to win here and he lost yet again. Rollins would get the victory and that was that.

Overall, Raw wasn’t that great. It had some great moments, like that final match, and the Miztourage trying to get Balor and Rollins to let them join their team. It was funny.
